Everclimb Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Everclimb LLC (“Everclimb,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our websites, applications, products, and related services.
Everclimb operates multiple products and services, including:
Climbary, a mobile climbing diary and community experience for climbers;
AMPclimb, a web and mobile platform for climbing gyms, staff, routesetters, and gym operations;
related websites, including Climbary.com, AMPclimb.com, and any other website or service that links to this Privacy Policy;
related support, sales, marketing, events, communications, and business operations.
Together, these are referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “Services.”
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.
1. Summary of Key Points
Everclimb operates both Climbary and AMPclimb. Climbary is primarily used by climbers to track climbs, sessions, notes, route interactions, and gym updates. AMPclimb is primarily used by climbing gyms and staff to manage route tags, wall photos, resets, analytics, announcements, staff workflows, and related operations.
We collect information you provide to us. This may include account information, profile details, gym/staff information, climbing activity, diary entries, route interactions, support messages, uploaded photos, payment-related information, and other content you choose to provide.
We collect information automatically. This may include device information, app usage, log data, IP address, crash data, cookies, and similar analytics information.
Some climbing information may be shared with gyms when you interact with that gym. For example, if you mark a gym as your home gym, check in, interact with official gym routes, submit feedback, participate in events, or use gym-connected features, certain information may be visible to that gym’s authorized staff. Private diary notes, private climbing lists, private quick routes, and personal reflections are not shared with gyms unless you choose to share them or a feature clearly tells you that sharing will occur.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not currently sell personal information for money. We also do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under certain U.S. state privacy laws. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required choices.
We use service providers. We may use third-party vendors for hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, crash reporting, email, push notifications, maps, customer support, storage, and other business operations.
You have privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal information.
You can contact us. If you have questions or privacy requests, contact us at [hello@climbary.com], or [support@ampclimb.com].
2. Who This Privacy Policy Applies To
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process about:
Climbary users, including climbers who create accounts, track climbs, log attempts or sends, write diary entries, upload photos, follow gyms, check in, or use community features;
AMPclimb users, including gym owners, managers, routesetters, coaches, staff, administrators, and other authorized gym representatives;
gym members or visitors whose information may be processed through AMPclimb or Climbary features;
website visitors;
customers and purchasers, including users who purchase Climbary subscriptions, AMPclimb products, route tag supplies, or other offerings;
people who contact us, including support, sales, partnership, event, or marketing contacts.
Some Services are used by climbing gyms, businesses, or organizations. In those cases, the gym or organization may also determine how certain information is collected and used. For example, a gym may decide which staff members have access to AMPclimb, what wall photos or route tags are published, what announcements are sent, or how gym members participate in events. Where we process information on behalf of a gym or organization, that gym or organization may also have its own privacy obligations.

6. How Climbary and AMPclimb Work Together
Climbary and AMPclimb are operated under the Everclimb umbrella. Some features are connected across both products.
For example:
gyms may use AMPclimb to create wall photos, route tags, routes, resets, announcements, events, competitions, leagues, or challenges;
climbers may use Climbary to view gym routes, log attempts and sends, track progress, follow gym updates, or receive reset warnings;
staff may use Climbary staff mode to perform limited gym management tasks if authorized by the gym;
gym staff may view certain gym-related activity and aggregate analytics related to official gym routes.
Private Climbary content is treated differently from gym-connected content. Private diary notes, private climbing lists, private quick routes, private route photos, and personal reflections are not shared with gyms unless you choose to share them or a feature clearly indicates that the content will be shared.
Gym-connected activity may be visible to authorized gym staff. Some route-related history may be preserved in archived, aggregated, or de-identified form to maintain gym analytics, route history, system integrity, and historical records.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
These safeguards may include:
